The meeting place is a parking area about 1/2 mile down this road.
If you drive up the night before your trip starts, you may camp adjacent to the parking area at the meeting place. Camping before the trip is also available at 6-mile Gap Campground, which has shade, picnic tables and water. To get there, travel 7.2 miles north on Hwy 125/230 from the Routt Access turnoff to "Six Mile Road", which will be on the right. Drive 2.1 miles on Six Mile Road to the campground.
